PM Kisan 14th Installment: The government is all set to release the 14th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme soon. The installment is expected to be released in the third week of May 2023.
The PM-KISAN scheme is a Central government initiative that provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year to eligible farmers’ families across the country. The amount is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each.
To be eligible for the PM-KISAN scheme, farmers must meet the following criteria:
- They should be Indian citizens.
- They should own cultivable land.
- Their annual income should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
The beneficiaries of the PM-KISAN scheme can check their eligibility, beneficiary list, and status on the official website of the scheme, pmkisan.gov.in.
To check their eligibility, beneficiaries can login to the website using their Aadhaar number and bank account details. They can also check their beneficiary list and status by entering their name, Aadhaar number, or bank account number.
The government has already released 13 installments of the PM-KISAN scheme so far. The 13th installment was released on February 26, 2023.
The release of the 14th installment of the PM-KISAN scheme will benefit around 12 crore farmers across the country. The government has already released over Rs 1.8 lakh crore under the scheme so far.
